While the TCC offset (Thermal Control Circuit offset) allows the user to limit the CPU's temperature, Alienware X-series’ (X15 and X17) additional features also include multiple power-mode options: Full Speed, Performance Mode, Balanced Mode, Battery Saver and Quiet Mode.
